2005 Dodge 2500 Gear Indicator Adjustment Indicator
Hello everybody, i just bought a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins 4x4 quad cab automatic transmission truck 190k miles. Truck has a problem with shifter linkage sometimes it will go in park but will show that its in reverse on the dash indicator, and it will not start unless i take it down to Neutral. However sometimes the truck goes in the park and will verify that in the dash indicator as well and truck will restart like it should in park position.Any one experienced a problem like that? Some one told me there was a recall with the Steering Linkage. Is that related to that problem?Thanks.

I have a 04 Dodge Ram 3500. When driving my shift indicator on the dash moves from drive to low gear by itself and is actually shifting. When its in park and I open my door the horn starts blowing. Sometimes the indicator which surrounds what gear I am in goes out. Any ideas 1 Answer.
