Just Cause 3 Map Vs Witcher 3

Completely different games, both very good. W3 is an RPG, JC3 is an open world sandbox game. Personally I was playing Fallout 4 and I have Witcher 3 that I have been playing off and on, once Just Cause 3 came out I stopped playing FO4 just to see how JC3 felt and haven't been back to FO4, NOT because JC3 is a better game, but it just fits my mood right now. So that's probably the question to ask yourself, what type of game do you feel like playing, what games grab your attention and have lasting enjoyment for you. Both will give you many, many hours of great game play in each game type.

Dec 07, 2015  True Just Cause 2 - Just Cause 3 map comparison size!! A friend with JC2, mooni, helped me with these in-game waypoint-assisted calculations.Just Cause 2.

  • Another thing Just Cause 2 was known for was its ball-staggeringly large, yet full and vibrant map. The upcoming sequel is following this trend, with Just Cause 3's map measuring 1000 square kilometers, much like its predecessor. For reference, the map currently playable in GTA V, minus the area of North Yankton, is 'only' 129 square kilometers.

Still better than having a game that ill might not even be able to launch. Once you complete the main campaign, you've completed the game, and you'll have to start a new save. However, the main story, is freakin' huge, and there's tons of side-missions that are awesome.

1306d ago (Edited 1306d ago )Witcher 3 can't hear it all the way ahead like that.Really though, when Bethesda does optional content, story content, characters, and just overall solid writing (with proper choice/consequence even) then they can talk. Not to mention an actually solid combat system. They can't rip the importance of both actual character building and VATS from Fallout, just to push an FPS that's simply serviceable.Until then, they can just sit and wonder why a moderately sized indie studio was able to dethrone them and, well, any other Western-style RPG developer in less than a decade. 1306d agoWitcher 3 will take all GOTY(s) this year.Witcher 3 looks and works pretty well.Fallout 4 has good gameplay but its not a fallout game.Fallout 4 feels more like a shooting game than RPG.

They made a shooter with fallout elements. And the Engine itself is poor for a 2015 game. You dont consider single element in a game for GOTY.The difference between Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 is the Production Value.MGS v stands tall for its Gameplay and vast attention to details but lacks a good story.SO overall WITCHER 3.Dont make people laugh by saying how much your goty sold in a day or week.Fallout sold well because of its popularity and hype. 1306d agoBloodborne should be in this discussion. This game.is so good, even on the second or third playthrough. It's hands down the best game of the year for me.

Probably the best combat system I have ever seen. You feel every hit you take or recieve. From Softwares level design is probably the best I've ever seen as well.

Map

So much detail in there maps and characters compaired to other games. There level interconnections/shortcuts is great. The Chalice Dungeons are fun as all get out. I just can't praise this game enough. The players this year never gave it a chance though. It's one of those games though that got overshadowed by another, The Witcher 3. After playing Bloodborne at launch, it was really hard for me to get into The Witcher 3.

With

Don't get me wrong, I think The Witcher 3 is a very good game. The narrative is excellent. It also has alot of characters and interactions, the map is good looking for the most part, a ton of items to collect. But the combat is horrible, you feel so distant from the fight, the move sets are average at best. I can never get finishers to work.

The same 'double hand on sword 360 degree move', like every time I fight an ememy. My biggest gripe of that game. If your into a big map and alot of narrative than The Witcher 3 is probably your game of the year. But not mine.I only have a few guys I play with online and I told them to atleast try Bloodborne to see what they thought. They are mainly Fallout 4 or Witcher 3 type RPGers, but they knew I loved the game alot so they both tried it since the game has been on sale now alot and the reviews were great.Put it this way, both friends are still thanking me for talking them into getting the game. They love it.

They have so many questions now though. The game is very mysterious, so I understand. But I had to laugh at one friend who was asking, 'Where's the map at', my answer, 'There is none'.

Then he asks, 'Where's my objective list', my answer, 'There is none'. Then his last question for the night was, 'how to you go back and redo something', my answer yet again, 'you can't, you make a decision on here, you stick with it'.It took him a second to comprehend that because he is so used to all these RPG's that walk you through the game letting you 'save when you want to' and a GPS telling them where to go and what to do and of course reloading checkpoints and saves to change situations in the game.I'm just glad I got two players to atleast try the 'dark side' instead of them just playing the same type of RPG's out today. Now, back to me thinking on how I wana approach Bloodborne tonight, since I actually have to think for myself and not a GPS/objective list pointing me where to go and what to do. LOL.So here is my final take on game of the year.

Guys that have only played The Witcher 3 and not Bloodborne. The Witcher 3 is your game of the year for sure. I'm not arguing that. Seems like all the players that has played both The Witcher 3 and Bloodborne though.Bloodborne is there game of the year.Any questions.??????????? 1306d ago (Edited 1306d ago )Yes only a small number of us actually liked to be challenged in a game instead of always pointing us exactly where your suppossed to go and when 'oh I messed up, I'll just go back'. Yeah, we don't like that.

Just Cause 3 Map Size

You make a decision, you stick with it or catch it on your next playthrough.I have both games as well, the narrative in The Witcher 3 is way too drawn out for my liking. Too much talk, not enough action.

The combat system is not comparable though. The Witcher 3 you feel so distant from the fight. How many times did I just do that same double fist on sword 360 degree swipe, like 14 times and its only been 30 seconds in the fight. Where's my finisher at? Bloodborne I feel every hit I take or recieve. But to each his own bud, to each his own. 1306d ago'I played both and witcher 3 is hands down the better game to me, from every single measurable category.'

Oh, boy.Gameplay mechanics, visual design, combat, replay factor, overall presentation. Just to name a few.Bloodborne can make u sweat adrenaline. So, just from the experience factor is hard to say the game is as bad as u claim.I think u just need to 'ged gud' and stay alive longer if u want to enjoy the game. Must be hard to play BB from the loading screen all the time.:). 1306d agoYeah. There's no excusing them regurgitating the same engine time and again. They are a giant company with seemingly limitless funds at this point. And there's no real argument to be made that it's because it's a solid engine that they know and is easy to work with, because their releases, and releases by other companies, show otherwise. They are just stubborn, want to consistently re-iterate with new builds and, at the end of the day, simply not learn a new engine. They aren't Valve.

While the Creation Engine is just as adaptable as the Source Engine, it's not nearly as stable, and is a nightmare to work with. It's time to retire it.It's been that time for a good while now. 1306d agoI hop one of these two games don't win that title. They are great according to all the reviews but they are not brilliant and never before seen stuff. Just re-vamped better versions of the previous installments of them.If Bloodborne doesn't take out that GOTY title i shall be very disappointed.

Just Cause 3 Map Vs Witcher 3

If Bloodborne had been released on all platforms i don't think the above article would be relevant at all.I hope GOTY nominees are not conducted on sales numbers cause thst doesn't determine a great game at all. 1306d ago (Edited 1306d ago )MGSV has better gameplay = a better game (quality quantity)the sword swinging in The Witcher 3 is beyond ridiculous and repetitive, the game'S gameplay doesn't feel nearly as smooth as MGSV. Try dodging or jumping, there are some akward animations.

I thought the gameplay was compared to Batman and Dark Souls, boy it wishes if it were Batman or Dark Souls. The foliage looks underwhelming, game launched incomplete ( framerate drops and performance drop.) which was later fixed for PS4. Just compare the latest patches, I mean really?

Download crack battlefield 4. Compare the latest patches, The Witcher is over 15 GB, MGSV is over 600 MB.And Fallout 4 shouldn't even be nominated imo as much as I'm having fun with it, it got a free pass just cause it's Fallout, there were better games like Batman or Tomb Raider who lived up more to the current gen standards.MGSV for me and BloodBorne's the runner up. 1306d agoThe whole mass appeal thing is a poor excuse. Witcher 3 is hardly a big name either, comes from a dev that pretty much every console player has never heard of as well. It obviously has done something to make it stand out with people which is why it will win awards, bloodborne was great but it doesn't stand out like Witcher 3 does. If anything more people would of heard of Dark Souls and From software than CD Projekt and The Witcher.Fallout and MGS are both bigger names but neither of them deserve GOTY over both Bloodborne and Witcher 3 this year.

1305d ago (Edited 1305d ago )Personally, Witcher 3 hands down. MGS isn't even close. In fact, despite the gameplay improvements, MGS 5 is is one of the worst main entries in the series.

Not enough story as its too much like Peace Walker. I wish Kojima didn't listen to the vocal minority complaining about cutscenes. Long term fans of the series have loved the game because it was story-centric.It was the first MGS game I sold before completing it. Most of the time I replay them 3 or 4 times. Over 25 hrs into MGS5, the game was so boring that I had no desire to play anymore. The whole time I felt like I was forcing myself to try and like it because I couldn't imagine not loving an MGS game. But I realized that it was just a boring game.
