Skyrim: Most Realistic Female Body Mods. Here’s my comparison of some of the most popular female body mods out there. The screenshots are NSFW so go be pervy at home. TL:DR; The best female body mod IMHO is CBBE Curvy.All the following photos are taken in the same location/lighting using a modified version of the Poupouri Morning Star ENB.
The second mod is another mod that replaces all the vanilla clothing textures with higher resolution textures. Ideally, you should choose one mod or the other, but by manually installing specific parts of the mod you can mix and match if you like. Unlike Improved NPC clothing, the author Kobayashi345 has gone for a more realistic look. Beggars, farmers and miners clothing is all dirty as you would expect given their jobs. The author has also gone to great lengths to balance increasing the resolution of textures without impacting performance.
I would recommend this mod over Improved NPC Clothing if:. You have an older PC and are concerned about game performance.
The dirtier look appeals to youBoth mods are excellent and it comes down simply I believe to a personal preference. You can see the effect of 2X Clothing re-mix above. If you are using either Mod Organizer or Nexus Mod Manager, you can install them one at a time and decide for yourself which look you prefer in game.
Now, we will move onto mods that replace specific clothing or add new clothes to Skyrim. The first mod we will look at is the excellent Cloaks of Skyrim mod by Noodles.
This hub adds almost one hundred cloaks to Skyrim. Cloaks from this mod:. Are added via crafting. Can be found in the possession of a number of NPCs including guards. Are also to be found in lootNot only can these cloaks be worn without the need to remove any other clothing or items, they also give you protection against the cold. If you play as I do, the excellent Frostfall mod (to learn more about Frostfall, check out my hub on that and a number of other excellent immersion mods that can be found here: ) then these cloaks will be an essential item of clothing for your Player Character. This mod replaces a number of clothing sets in Skyrim to a very high standard indeed.
The mod is written by BaboonCru and comes in several parts.The first part upgrades all Mage robes in Skyrim and is an essential mod if you are choosing to play as a mage character, although as the robes are so beautiful I would recommend that you install them regardless of your character class.The second part is a texture replacement for maid and merchant NPCs throughout Skyrim. You can see an example of the standard of this mod in the picture to the right.
The clothing added by these mods is simply beautiful as you can see. Improved NPC clothing which replaces all clothing for NPCs with high definition, high quality textures that make all clothing in the game look significantly better.
2X Clothing Re-Mix – Kobayashi’s Mix is another total replacer mod, this time though the author balanced any improved textures with performance. The changes are not as striking as Improved NPC clothing, but they are an improvement on vanilla and are perfect for those of us with older PCsThe choice between the two is largely a personal choice between the look of both mods as well as whether performance or graphic quality is more important to you.Next, we looked at a number of excellent mods that built on the work done by the total replacement mods and improved specific clothing or clothes for specific people in game. First, we looked at Cloaks of Skyrim which adds almost one hundred cloaks to NPCs.
They are also available to player characters, either by killing the owner of a cloak, or by finding them in loot. Next, Opulent Outfits introduces beautiful mage robes to Skyrim and also updates the clothes of maids and merchants. Elaborate Textiles updates the clothes of a wide range of NPCs, improving their clothes still further while still retaining the vanilla look. Monk Robes Revamp improves the look of the clothes worn by the priests and priestesses in game. These clothes have been rebuilt from the bottom up and they really improve on the vanilla clothes worn by these NPCs. Lind's Court Wizard Robes - Blue Robes Texture Replacer enhances the look of the wizard's robes in Skyrim. Fans of the game helped push Skyrim to new heights, with a strong modding community on PC.Due to the game's on-going popularity, we were blessed with a gorgeously overhauled newer, shinier Skyrim, bringing mod support to consoles for the first time.
Here are our favorites. This award winning, critically acclaimed mod is, basically, a fan made expansion bordering on official DLC quality realms of brilliance.
With this installed, from level 5 your character will be approached by a courier who directs you to the Forgotten City. What follows is a six-to-eight-hour original and non-linear experience, in an incredibly intricate and beautiful new city. Even boasting complex moral decisions with consequences, and several different endings, it would be a shame to miss out on such beautifully crafted modding!Frostfall - Hypothermia Camping Survival. If you wanted to turn Skyrim into a potentially fatal survival game, Frostfall would be the mod to do it.
The three main components of this mod are hypothermia, cold water survival, and camping. This mod tracks everything from time of day, and weather to what you are wearing to create an immediately immersive experience. Your character can visibly become wet and snowy. It is also deeply customizable, making the experience as pleasant or unpleasant as you feel comfortable with. It adds new attributes to your character, Wetness and Exposure, and defenses for Warmth and Coverage. As you get colder, it raises your Exposure, and your skills suffer as a result; and when you are Wet, it increases your Exposure quicker. Warmth will always reduce Exposure, and Coverage decreases Wetness.
You'll need the following mod to implement the effects of this fully.Hardcore Difficulty - No Milkdrinkers! Couple this with Frostfall, and you've pretty much got yourself a Skyrim/The Sims cross-over. If keeping your Dragonborn alive wasn't hard enough, you'll now also have to make sure they're well rested, and well fed and watered.
Messages appear to keep you informed of your status, as well as sound effects so you hear your stomach rumbling. The heavier the food, the more filling it is, and you'll begin the game with a waterskin but they can be crafted and purchased if you need more.Just Walk - No Fast Travel.
There are other cheat mods available, and this certainly isn't the tidiest but I selected this one in particular due to one of the additional things it does. This mod spawns a book on a stool that you can find at the Standing Stones just after you escape from Helgen on your way to Riverwood. Selecting the book adds a spell to the Restoration section of your magic, which is the cheat menu.
You can fast level, or add items and money, etc. But you can also turn off collision detection, enabling you to bypass entire sections of the map just by aiming into the sky while you walk!

The most comprehensive mod for straightening out all the bugs, kinks and glitches left in the game post-release. Made to be compatible with as many mods as possible, you'll want to install this for a cleaner and less messy game.
