So, I have downloaded Rollercoaster Tycoon 1, and every time I try to launch it it says it needs to download additional features. When I tell it to install, it says it's searching, and after a few seconds it pops up a window saying:The referenced assembly could not be found Error Code: 0x80073701. When I tried to enable Direct Play through Enable And Disable windows features under Legacy Components, It gave me the same error: 0x80073701. I found on the internet something to installdirect play, but it said that it needed Directx 8.1, and when i tried to install Directx 8.1 after a lot of work trying to find the right file, it didn't work. I don't know what to do anymore.

I did both of the methods, the first one said everything was ok, and the second one I didn't know what it said because I didn't know what to look at, but it would probably give the same result. One more interesting thing is that after I did this, whenI tried to launch the game, it just got stuck on the: Collecting Feature Details and didn't do anything. Also, I remember seeing somewhere (On the official Microsoft site) that it said that Direct Play support has stopped. So I think that the bigger thingis that I found a exe file to install direct play but it says that It needs DirectX 8.1.

They do not require DirectPlay. Has anyone a solid fix for this?Regards,Mereinid.
